Counseling cancellations and missed appointments

Please cancel or reschedule counseling appointments at least 24 hours in advance. A cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice or a missed appointment carries an $80 fee, where permitted by applicable law and insurance requirements. Each client receives one courtesy waiver of a late-cancellation or no-show fee. After that waiver, the fee applies to subsequent late cancellations or missed appointments.

 

Session length and late arrivals

Standard counseling sessions are 55 minutes. Discuss any request for a different session length in advance. Arriving late may reduce the time available for your session; the appointment cannot be extended beyond its scheduled end time.

 

DOT SAP refunds

A refund request may be considered only before the initial SAP evaluation begins. Once the initial evaluation has started, whether completed in full or in part, the SAP fee is nonrefundable except where a refund is required by law. This is Three Corners Counseling’s payment policy.

 

What the SAP fee covers

The $400 SAP fee covers the initial and follow-up SAP evaluations, required SAP reporting, and return-to-duty guidance. Recommended education or treatment and return-to-duty testing are separate costs. Payment does not guarantee a particular recommendation, completion date, job, or return to driving.

 

How to request a cancellation or refund review
