What this policy covers

This policy explains information handled through the Three Corners Counseling website and general inquiries. Clients receive a separate Notice of Privacy Practices during intake that describes clinical information, confidentiality, and applicable rights. Contact David Newson to request a copy of that document or ask about a privacy concern.

Notice of Privacy Practices

This notice explains how Three Corners Counseling may use and disclose your health information and describes your privacy rights.

Information you provide

When you contact us, we receive the information you submit, which may include your name, email address, phone number, appointment location, service interest, and message. Online appointment requests and payments may also involve scheduling and transaction information. We use this information to respond to inquiries, coordinate appointments, and administer the services you request.

Website hosting, cookies, and tracking

Wix hosts this website and provides website and business tools. Wix may process technical information such as IP addresses, device and browser details, pages visited, and interactions with the site. Cookies and similar technologies support site functionality, security, and activity measurement.

Third-party privacy information and choices

Learn more through the Wix Privacy Policy. You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies may affect site features. External websites and payment or financing providers have their own privacy terms.

Contact forms, email, and text messages

Use these channels for brief service or scheduling questions. Please do not send detailed clinical histories, Social Security numbers, or payment-card details through the website contact form, standard email, or text messages. These channels should not be treated as a secure clinical portal. Ask us how to share sensitive documents or clinical information appropriately.

Clinical confidentiality and DOT SAP reporting

Clinical information is handled under applicable privacy laws and the privacy-practices document supplied during intake. Confidentiality has legal limits, and permitted or required disclosures depend on the circumstances. DOT SAP services include required professional reports and, where applicable, FMCSA Clearinghouse updates. The SAP reporting process is different from ordinary counseling; ask about the information involved before your evaluation.

Privacy questions and information requests

Contact David Newson at 828-519-0479 or davidnewson@threecornerscounselingnc.com to ask about information submitted through this website or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Identity verification may be needed, and legal or professional recordkeeping requirements may limit deletion. Requests involving clinical records are handled under the applicable clinical privacy rules.
