Which insurance plans do you accept?

Three Corners Counseling is in-network with Aetna, Ambetter, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare for eligible individual counseling services in North Carolina. Coverage depends on your specific plan and the services provided. Your share may include a deductible, copay, or coinsurance. We review your benefits and expected costs before scheduling.

 

Can I use insurance outside North Carolina?

Insurance is accepted for eligible North Carolina clients only. Private-pay alcohol and marijuana counseling is available for eligible clients physically located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, or Tennessee during sessions. Pornography and gambling counseling are currently available only in North Carolina. We confirm your location and service eligibility before scheduling.

 

How much does counseling cost without insurance?

Private-pay counseling costs $80 per session. You can discuss private pay if you do not have insurance or prefer not to use it. A free consultation gives us a chance to review your needs, location, and payment arrangements before your first appointment.

 

Does Three Corners Counseling accept insurance for DOT SAP evaluations?

Three Corners Counseling provides DOT SAP evaluations on a self-pay basis and does not bill insurance for this service. The $400 SAP fee includes the initial and follow-up evaluations, required SAP reporting, and SAP Clearinghouse updates when applicable. Recommended education or treatment and return-to-duty testing cost extra. Coverage for separate treatment depends on your plan and the treatment provider.
