Supporting Truck Drivers with Understanding, Not Judgment - A Personable Approach to DOT SAP Evaluation in North Carolina

DOT SAP Evaluation North Carolina

When a violation happens, it can feel like your whole career is on the line. For many truck drivers, a single mistake, one decision, can mean losing their livelihood, their routine, and their sense of stability. That’s where I step in.

At Three Corners Counseling, I provide DOT-qualified SAP evaluations that are not just compliant with FMCSA regulations, they’re grounded in respect, real-world understanding, and compassion. I’ve built this program around one core belief: truck drivers deserve to be treated as people, not case numbers.

DOT SAP Evaluation in North Carolina - Meeting the Driver Where They Are

Every driver’s story is different. Some have been on the road for decades, some are just getting started. But one thing is always the same, the desire to get back to work and rebuild.

I know the DOT process can be confusing and intimidating. My goal is to make it as straightforward and stress-free as possible. From our first call, I meet you where you are, mentally, emotionally, and financially.

  • No lectures.

  • No judgment.

  • Just an honest, down-to-earth process that gets you back on the road safely and in full compliance with DOT and FMCSA standards.

All evaluations are completed virtually, so you can meet with me from the comfort of your home, your cab, or wherever you’re parked for the night. I make it easy to stay connected no matter where your routes take you.

Affordable, Flexible Payment Plans

I understand that being out of work can create financial stress. That’s why I offer flexible payment plans to help you move forward without additional burden.

You don’t have to wait until you’ve saved the full fee, we’ll create a plan that works for your situation, so you can begin the SAP process right away.

My goal is simple: to help you complete every required step, return to duty quickly, and keep your career on track.

What to Expect During the SAP Process

If this is your first time going through the process, here’s what it looks like:

  1. Initial SAP Evaluation — A private, confidential telehealth session where we discuss your history, the incident, and your readiness to return to work.

  2. Education or Treatment Recommendation — I’ll create a plan tailored to your situation, not a one-size-fits-all requirement.

  3. Follow-Up Evaluation — Once you’ve completed your program, we’ll meet again to confirm your progress and issue your Return-to-Duty (RTD) eligibility date in the FMCSA Clearinghouse.

  4. Follow-Up Testing Plan — I’ll create the required testing plan for your employer or prospective employer, helping ensure full compliance with federal regulations.

Throughout the process, I’ll be your point of contact, no call centers, no waiting for someone who doesn’t know your case. You’ll have direct communication with me every step of the way.

Real Support for Real People

I’ve met drivers who were frustrated, worried, or embarrassed, but once they realize I’m here to help them succeed, not judge them, everything changes.

You’ve worked hard for your CDL. You deserve to have someone in your corner who understands the stakes and will help you navigate the process with integrity and respect.

You’ll leave this process not only ready to get back on the road but with new tools and insight to stay there, confident, focused, and compliant.
